Finally i'm back with a new review...

this is the Boost Custom 10.5 Volt Lithium Ion Halo Battery...boost custom makes alot of different Batteries that do the samething but in different volts (from 10.5 to 12 volt batteries)...they range in price depending on their volts and package they come with( from $14 to $84, with charger)...i bought the...

Boost Custom 10.5 Volt Lithium Ion Halo Battery for $79 at actionvillage.com for my...

Halo B with a rip (they now make them for Empire b's). here is what boost custom said about their product:
Boost Custom Paintball Products was the first to develop lithium battery packs for paintball hoppers. The turbo/charge battery pack is 2 times lighter than standard 6 AA packs running 105 VCD under a load. So not only is it very light, but the performance is second to none.

Features:

No modification needed, installs in just 5 minutes.
Charges in 1 to 2 hours. 12 - 14,000 rounds or 6-7 cases before you need to recharge!
Super light! - 2.5 oz. compared to the 5.68 oz. 6 AA battery pack.

Warranty: 6 month manufacturers warranty on rechargeable packs.

to uses the charger...just contect the charger..and then

connect the battery....a red light should be on the charge...that means the battery is dead...give it and hour or two and a green light should apear...meaning it is ready...and disconnect the battery..

when charging...make sure you have the charger on the right setting..i would recomend putting it a the highest setting to make sure it's fully charged...here are some more pic's of the battery:

compard to a regular set of six AA batteries:

as soon as you put in the boost custom batteries you can tell the difference in weight...i don't know the actual weight but you will really notice it...also i would recomend putting somthin with the boost custom battery to keep it from rattling around...i use some black electrical tape....it works great...

In conclusion:
it will save you money in batteries. it will cost a lot at first but it will be worth it. Boost custom said it will makes a stock Halo B go faster...but who knows...it maybe 2 to 3 BPS faster. it make your Halo B weigh less...that's all i know...

this product gets a 9.2 out of 10.

Good review. One thing comes to mind though; my charger has never lit up green. It has always stayed that orangey color.

Great review, as usual, Grunt. If I had a Halo, I'd consider one, but I'm picking up a Revvy.

Just want to warn you, Grunt, that you should not be charging it using the 16v option on the charger. TAG revoked the warranty on Cheetah boards using rechargeable batteries (namely Boost stuff) because some of the Cheetah boards were frying. Apparently, 16 volts to the board will screw it up. Cheetahs are the strongest boards power input-wise, so I would have to conclude it would take significantly less voltage to kill a normal Halo board. I tested my Boost last night after I charged it on 16v, and it was outputting slightly less that 13 volts.

Be careful.
