I was just curious. I like the Custom Pro, because you can run it on CO2. I like the Ion for speed. What's better overall. Including price. I just want peoples' imput.

Everyones going to say ION, but I say Custom Pro. Its got Tippmann reliability and durability. The design is time tested unlike the ION. Your going to go with the ION though.

I'm not getting this. I was just wondering. They seem like great guns. Overall, the Custom Pro would be cheaper between air and price.

What is the difference between the 98c and a custom pro anyway? I say go with the Ion though.

I could go either way. If it was the Custom Pro or Custom Pro Rt, I'd say get the Ion. If it's the Custom Pro E then I'd say get that as opposed to the Ion.

Like you said, it'd be cheaper to own the Custom Pro because it accepts CO2 without any problems.

The custom pro comes with a lot of things stock that a 98c doesn't. It has a much better barrel, a drop forward, and a vertical adapter is already installed I believe. It also has the ability to have an e-grip.

the 98c can have an egrip, and it doesnt have a vert adapter, the barrel is a werks which still isnt very good, the drop is like an inch long and ive heard the internals are weaker than a 98c's, i would go with the ion

I believe that's what he was referring to when he said "can".

even though I AM a ION owner...I would have to say PRO if on a cheap budget....doesn't require HPA like the ION does if going above like what....10bps...so if you're on a cheap budget I'd say PRO
