I think it'd be cool if you hooked up the bolt to a pump handle like on the SL, but do it on like a 98c, and when you shot, it moved with the bolt. I just thought it'd look cool. Then the harder part, if you could turn it on an off between semi auto and pump. Just an idea.

It would be pretty cool, but you wouldnt be able to switch from semi to pump.

That would be pretty cool i guess. I'm perfectly fine with my SLs autotrigger though. I can throw some paint with that, Laughing .

I actually saw a pump kit for a 98c once.

Possible. Make some kind of lever or adjustment to block blowback on the 98. Then pump away.

I find that it's awfully hard to aim when you're trying to lay out paint with the SL. Maybe I'm just too psyco. Tounge

Well, with Smitty's idea, wouldn't you have to put more pressure through the gun to get the bolt to recock. That is if you want the look of a pump but still have the capabilities of a semi.

you could achieve a 98 pump by doing a front cocking mod similar to mine just have the pump linkage come out the top to run the front bolt and let the rear bolt run as normal with no linkage connecting the two, then when you wanted semi just split the marker replace the front cocking forearm with the original linkage and you would be back in business again. i don't think there would be any way of just flipping a switch to go from pump to semi.....well anything is possible but it would get very complicated.
