Just remembered I had it.

Recently I purchased a St!ffi Switch Kit for my Angel, sadly it will not be used anymore (by me atleast) but onto the review. My first impression was how it looked. Personally I think this barrel is hot, the carbon fiber looks great. The next thing I noticed was that you don't actually realize how light it is until you hold it. Weighing in at 74 grams, the barrel is measly. At first it seems fragile and cheaply made simply because it weighed next to nothing, but it held up during play.

The barrel is advertised to clean broken paint, not true. Albeit, it does clean bits of broken paint but it isn't what I had expected. It shoots slightly more straight after broken paint through the barrel but not enough to go without squeeging the barrel during play.

The inserts for the barrel are very short, thus are hard to remove sometimes if the barrel gets stuck on tight. Especially since I had a volumizer on my gun so I couldn't grab a hold of the insert at times. I also had noticed that the insert had seemed to come loose during play.

Accuracey with the barrel was great, it shot ropes. It was a deffinate improvement over my stock barrel, but it wasn't an arrow. I don't have much to compare it to so I can't say what is good and what is bad. I will say though that it is a deffinate improvement. The finnish on the bore was immaculate, it glimmered and shined.

As far as noise goes, it wasn't loud but I didn't notice much of a different between my stock and this.

Pros:

Light (74 grams!)
Accurate
Attractive
More quiet, but not a main factor.
Bore was shimmering, immaculate finnish

Cons:

Barrel inserts are very short
Inserts can tend to be a hassle to get off
Inserts can also come loose during play (Could simply be remideed by putting an O-ring around the barrel I'd think)
Hefty price for only 4 inserts
Can't use a Battle Swab, squeegie only

Conclusion:

The kit is great, it's light, accurate, hot, and deffinately sturdy. Although it comes at a hefty price and includes only 4 inserts, I would deffinatley buy another Site product again (www.sitemfg.com) for my next marker. Not sure if it would be a kit or a single barrel, we'll see what happens.

it's not that we didn't like the review, as far as reviews go it was very good. it's the fact that very few of us can afford a St!ffi switch kit let alone an Angel to put the kit on Crying or Very sad

2 thumbs up on the review though
