I thought about either getting that or.....

Anyone ever use one of these? I'm thinking the one for $30 sounds better than $150. Also, does the electronic one actually come with the cutout, or just the electrical stuff and the valve? Any help is appreaciated. Thanks.

You sure are putting a lot of money into this truck of yours, eh? I like the abilities of the electric one, but I am sure the $30 will do. I'm not big on cars and trucks so you probably shouldn't take my advice.

Well I figure I'll have it a while. It'll be about $100 for the stereo, maybe under $1000 for paint since my uncle has the stuff to do it, and then a few hundred for a bedliner.

don't whaste your money on crap, just straightpipe it and be done with it, it will sound the best and be the absolute cheapest way to go. cutouts are for drag racing, and if the straight pipes are too loud at times (picking up dates or cruizing town) stuff some course steel wool in the tail pipes it will greatly quiet the truck, then when you want it loud mash the gas and it will blow out the wool Salut

stay away from the bedliner too unless you like everything you haul sliding arround in the box, every truck i had with a bedliner i took it out or put in a bed mat to keep stuff from sliding all over.

Well the father said the cut outs were a no no. I guess that won't happen. BUT, we've got that 402, and he's got some sweet Hooker Headers for that if they'll fit on the truck. Then a good dual exhaust with some loud mufflers. And, none of that stupid plastic crap for the bedliner. We've been down that road. I'm thinking a cheap roll in DIY bedliner. They've got some decent reviews.
