Blazing 98RT, around 20bps!

Ill tell you the exact bps next time I get to a chrono. I know its around 20 though.

A little dark, but the video seems to get brighter. If it opens in WMP you can change the brightness. Not too bad though.

Psyrecx

I'll believe it when I actually see paintballs comming out of the gun.
TriggerHappy1

My camera isnt fast enough to catch the balls in the air. But you can hear them hitting the sheet metal target. Every shot makes it out, some times more because my detent is a little weak. It is truely shooting as fast as you hear it. Waitll I get to a chrono.

Anyone got a sound program where you can count the sound wave spikes per second like Milkman did?
Grunt_98c

That's crazy! Awesome job! Cheers
tarallo

I saw that on your xanga, good work.

Someone explain to me how RT works? Not electronic, right?
TriggerHappy1

How it works-

As the bolt is being blown back by the blowback, an excess amount is taking through an external line and to a piston. The trigger is being held back at this time and then the piston pushes it forward reseting the trigger. When the piston lets up your finger is still pulling back and your fire again. Then it quick taps it forwards, lets up, your fires, over and over.
tarallo

So basically it fires for every 1/2 pull, thanks.
RoboCop

One shot per pull actually. The piston behind the trigger pushes the trigger forward to reset itself. The tension your finger has on the trigger causes the trigger to trip the sear. The action is very fast because you keep the same amount of pressure you would use to trip the sear, but the r/t gives more power than your finger has, to reset the trigger.

If you were to fire a r/t, you would understain a whole lot easier how it operates.
Nickodemus

Yeah pretty much the trigger is bouncing off your finger, you just have to practice a little for sustained fire, but shooting short burst is very easy. The trick is to start pulling the trigger slow and when it breaks and the marker fires you have to hold your finger in that same spot with the same tension.
tigman250

pretty cool for the old 98
