C02

Ok I have an A-5 and two 20 oz tanks of C02, but when I tried to shoot my gun with one of the C02 canisters screwed on, it didnt shoot (as if there were no C02 in it at all) then I screwed on the other and it shot just fine. Is there a problem with my gun, the C02, or how I put on the C02???

what kind of ASA do you have? the stock one?
is the pin on the co2 tank bent?
it kinda sounds like the pin on the co2 tank isn't gettin pushe dback.
Justice

Sounds like a tank problem.

Probably the pin valve. It's probably not getting pushed back. I'd have your local shop or paintball place check it out.

Make sure its filled ofcourse. It is easy to loose track of a tank being filled or not. And some tanks can have a slow leak. I went to put my 16 on my gun before after leaving it sit for a month and it was completly empty.

Ask your local shop and theyll get you covered.

Sounds like your gun is just fine. Like the others have said, it's probably the pin valve on the tank. Get it checked out, fixed, and you'll be ready to go! Cheers

one more thing to check was it screwed COMPLETLY in? even a half a turn can be the diffrence in an open or closed pin valve.

welcome

Sounds like you need your tank refilled[/b]

Tap the bottom of your tank with your finger while you swing it in small circles. If it has CO2 in it you will hear the ring change pitch as the liquid sloshes in the tank. If the tank is empty you will just here a ping each time you tap it.

a5's dont shoot if the tank is almost out of air...it might be just about out because there isnt enough mmph to drive the cyclone....i hate it when this happens THumb down
abr5

yea, but if this was the case you could hear it air up.

ooooo.....i thought air actually came out of the end....my gun did this once....i just took it to the shop and they pretty much fixed it for me. Cheers

well with cockers,if there isn't enuogh air for the valve to seal, it iwll just leak out of the barrel

i was short strokin my friendsmech cocker and air would just leak out of the barrel unless i pulled all the way..was a very weird experience for me seeing as how ive never really used cockers.
