Camera

I am looking into getting a camera very soon. I have a budget of $200. I want a good reliable one, and I don't know what to get. I have seen some really nice digital cameras, which is what I am looking into. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Never any any problems with my sony cameras. I've owned 3, all of them work great.
I also really like the cannon powershot.

i have a HP camera and it eats batteries like crazy so i would stay away from them.

My cousin has it and I was impressed by what I saw, so I will probably get it. Only $150. Not too bad. Also, my mom gets 10% discount.

Samsung isn't known for their cameras.

Stick with Sony, Olympus, Canon, Nikon. If you really don't care too much I'm sure the Samsung would work.

Well, just got a call from a team member, looks like I will be playing on the 22nd. So, the camera is going to go on hold for a long time. Suggestions are still open, but probably won't make a purchase until around November.

canon powershots are incredible. the A models are in your price range (which are kinda bulky and slow... but takes great pics. flash recharge rate sucks, same with size) SD models are amazing, i have an SD400 flash pics an instant after another, super fast, very easy to use, lots of modes, small ect.

for all brands of dig cameras theres drappier models, anda line of good ones. crappier ones are cheaper, bigger, slow, plastic AA batteries..... yuck. get a better quality one, youll like it a lot more.

Well, my brother is in the army and the aafes store is selling an 8 mp olympus. It will be $275. It would be easier for me to buy because it would be $10 a month. I could also do larger payments. If you have any suggestions to the $300 range, I would be open to looking into it.

Thanks for the help so far.

You're paying monthly on a camera?

As I always say: If you have to pay monthly for an electronic, you probably shouldn't be buying it.
RoboCop

I would be paying monthly because his credit card will allow that. Anyways, if possible, I could pay around $70 a month.

$300? Canon PowerShot SD400, Nikon Coolpix SD model, Olympus higher end model.

If you pay monthly dont do $10 payments. 2.5 years for a camera that will be highly outdated by then isnt good. go with atleast $40 payments or higher if you can afford it. Get insurance on it too if you can. sooooo worth it, wish i had it, theres a spec of dust inside my camera leaving a grey blur on every picture Confused
RoboCop

I would be doing higher payments, just $10 on a hard month on me doesn't sound so bad when I can bounce back the next month.

I don't know if I will go through with it any more. I might wait to see what comes out in awhile and maybe wait till there is some kinda of special sale. I am looking into buying some gloves and maybe some ATC cleats. Christmas is in 5 months, maybe I can wait it out and ask for some money or a new camera then.

I like the powershots and coolpix cameras. I like small and portable cameras that have good quality and are easy to share.
