CP 14inch & Lapco Bigshot 14inch barrel review

you all heard people saying "what barrel is the best to get??" & more stuff like that. this review may help some of those people out..

..this is the lapco bigshot, 14inch. cost me about $45 off line. it's caliber .689..perfect for most paintballs out there.

most of the porting is at the front of the barrel. making it alittle loud. very light. made by a very good company, lapco so you don't have to worry about if it's a piece of cr*p barrel or not. if you get any kind of barrel from lapco get it bead blasted, so it dose not shine in the sun like most barrels, perfect for woods.

custom products(cp) 14inch barrels are great to. only cost me $42 at my local paintball store.

they come in many calibers which is shown on the side of the barrel under the logo. i have the .689 caliber cp barrel, this works perfect with PMI Premiums.

lots of porting..making a sort of a quiet barrel. alittle shinny & get's finger prints on it very easy. so this barrel is more towards speed than woods, but do let that change your mind of gettin it. this is a very good barrel for the price...

now the real test...these vids of the barrels in action are shot from 75ft. from the target...

....both barrels did really good. lapco suprised me because, the paint i used fit the cp barrel and not really the bigshot. but the bigshot did very good. these barrels are a must get. both barrels get a 9.9 out of 10...leaving the stock barrel...

..why you SON OF A.....

...TAKE THAT!!!!!

..leaving the stock barrel in the dust were it should be...lol.

I bet you got the stock barrel and cleaned it, then kissed it, then put it with the rest of your paintball stuff.

Yes, but it's my only barrel. THumb down

People have tried it before, but it didnt work like the original. Not only would you have to have precisely the right bend, but the inside would need to be blasted like the A-5 to create spin because of the shorter barrel.

I'll sell you mine for 5 bucks. Tounge

I think I'll pass unless you send it free. Smile Most people don't want stock 98c barrels. Maybe if I got 2 I could halfway bend them and make a longer barrel! Surprised
TriggerHappy1

We meant the Flatline mod for stock barrels. There was a thread about it you must have missed. It Explained how setting up fishing line through the barrel gave the ball backspin. I see it as BS.

I posted that. I thought you meant the banging it up against a tree mod. Cool Rambo

I might try to sell mine in the freebee ads and call it a "sniper stock barrel." I bet I could get some sucker to buy it.

Thats what my post was about. I figured you were going to try bending it yourself.

That's what I was talking about. If someone would give me a free one I'd try it. Rambo

Why don't people go pickup some Hammerhead battlestix because they have a honed barrel that acts like a flatline, but more in the sense of a real firearm.

i would but i would need some $$$$...lol.
RoboCop

At first I didn't look at the price, but after I posted, I looked and I would probably rather buy a freak kit. I would have to personally test it out before I payed that much. The Hammerhead barrels are like a flatline but they provide more accuracy, because it is a straight barrel. I know someone that has one and he loves it.
