Exhaust Help

I'm looking for straight pipes for a 1983 Chevy pickup with a 305. Any help is appreciated. Links would be great and reviews are awesome. Just looking for some help with this.

Edit - I forgot to put it doesn't have to be just straight pipes. Any loud Dual Exhaust will be good. I'd really like something fairly cheap. Thanks guys.

take it to the local muffler shop, you can have them cut off the muffler and bend up a straight pipe for less than $30.

had my 95 GMC straight piped, loved it for the most part. the only time i didn't like it was on the express way for long periods, all that racket gave me a headache! if you want a bad ass exaust do a straight pipe! i currently have a Dodge Ram and i put a Flow Master on it, i like that too, noisy when you want but at highway speeds it is reasonable. if you watch eBay you can get a FM for $30 also, but do the straight pipe.....you won't be dissapointed (until you get your first loud exaust ticket) don't worry though after 3 or 4 you stop caring LOL
RoboCop

lol. How much do those tickets run you tig?

that's a pipe you use to relocate your air filter to get it to a spot to collect colder air

there is no model of straight pipe, like i said go to a muffler shop and they will make it. if you put any brand of muffler on it and keep the converter it won't "roar" like you want. now take the converter off and install a FM........now you have a good sounding exaust! in all honesty your cheapest best sounding route is a SP.

They have sound clips of all their models.
Smitty

Yeah. I might have to look into that. Would they work this this dual exhaust?

the dual outlet would be the one you want for that tailpipe kit, you will need some reducers though as the exits on the muffler are 2.5" and the tail pipes are 2.25"

BTW that is a decent price on thoes tailpipes, and free shipping!
Smitty

Yeah I know I'd need the dual outlet. Thanks for the help guys. Now I just need to raise some cash.

tigman250
