How should I clean..

..paintballs that were in a bag with a broken ball? There is paint and shards of the shell all through the bag and on the paintballs. Should I just put the balls in a strainer and run them under cold water? What do you do when a ball breaks in a case of paint?

don't run them under water period! it will make a huge mess!

i have had the same problem before (i think we all have!) just take a box large enough for all the paintballs to spread out on the bottom of it without any of them laying on top of one another, then lay a clean dry towel in the box, dump in paintballs on top of towel and "swish" them arround until they are dry, if need be you can turn towel over and repeat. then remove all shell halves, as long as the bag didn't have the broken balls in it too long the rest of them should be OK.

Good Luck!

I usually get a paper towel and hold onto it and just mix the paintballs around. It works well with getting the excess paint and oil off the balls. Maybe after you do that enough, the shards will be dry enough to fall towards the bottom of the bag.

I usually take a towel and put the balls on it then rub them inside the towel which cleans em up.

Water!!? nooooo haha

i do what tig said, just a box lined with a towel or something. or just a towel and swishing it around the bag. like the box idea better though.
cdacda13

Put them in a sock or tied up t-shirt and roll them around.

All of these things are basically the same, some sort of cloth that involves the balls being rubbed around, but when i do it i pick out the broken shells first....i like that idea though cda Cool

You've never seen a paintball in water?

Do it.

I was just gonna run the spray thing over it, not the regular flow. I used a towel and it worked fine. Thanks for the help.
