Standard is a one way noid, limiting the cycling rate to 15 BPS.

After this
Its now a two way noid, allowing for faster cycling.

For the record, This is SOOOOOO OLD.

NN:
Project make the E-bolt not chop and cycle faster because it's really pissing me off now, take # two...

Remember the first time, lightened the hammer, got a stiffer return spring for the ram, vented the spring side of the ram so the piston can move faster. Well that sorta worked, but it still hickups every now and then.

So now this time I'm going to make it a "true'er" electropneumatic. First off I am buying a new solenoid that cycles faster. Also instead of being a 3-way it is going to be a 5-way. With it being NO instead of NC. Ok so now it has a good 'noid. The ram will be modified. The brass piston in the ram will get a new o-ring (square ring actually) to accommodate for pressure coming at it from both sides. Next I will have to drill and tap a 3mm hole with a seat in the front of the ram housing for the air to come into the ram to keep the gun in the 'cocked position. The ram will use a 3mm threaded o-ring barb. I will also have to make a front ram cap with an o-ring in it to seal on the ram shaft. The ram shaft will have to be polished to seal on the o-ring better and to reduce wear. I will be using my lightened hammer to keep recoil down. The board as of now is going to stay stock. Later on it will be replaced with a Morlock enabling it to cycle VERY fast. To make the 'noid and board fit I will probably have to do some dremeling inside the grip frame, but so far from my calculations everything will fit and work very good.

In essence the gun used to operate like a BKO, now it will operate like an BM2kX.

I dont have an Ebolt, but that's pretty cool.
