Nameless Gun

Well, this gun is better than an Icon so I won't call it one...

**Specs**
#Icon-E
#Red Dye Sticky 3s
#Palmer's Male Stab
#Chopped Back Block
#Shark fin Cool
#Shocktech Supafly bolt
#Modified Blade Trigger
~Magnetic mod
~Post-travel trigger stop
~50g flip switch
~Tippmann A-5 E-Grip board

I plan on getting a few more things including:
>15* ASA
>New LPR
>New striker/striker spring
>New Valve
>Clamping feedneck
>Maybe some black DYE Sticky 3s
>Some barrel...

Then it will get painted or if I have the money will get sent for anno.

prety cool, very original. if you do send out for ano you'll have to take off the fin ano dosen't work on non metalic surfaces. i like it though keep up the good work

How did the sodering go?

Looks damn good for a icon
Roll Tide

Soldering was really easy. I was surprised.

And I was thinking of how I could paint it or whatever. I ruled out anno because it's too expensive, and yeah I couldn't do the fin. I'll probably end up just spray painting it.

I going to make a little order tonight for some more parts.

Think about Powder coating it.
Its much cheaper than anno, and is damn durable.
tigman250

if you go with paint use self etching primer, it's kinda tough to get paint to stick to aluminum the self etching primer really helps hold the paint on the aluminum. it'll cost a few extra bucks but well worth it!! btw you can find it at most auto parts stores. GOOD LUCK and can't wait to see it done!!

I can get a vid of the clicking noise from the solenoid... The valve won't seal so I can't fire it.

It's been like that for a while... what can I say it's a Spyder clone. I think I'll get the Maddmann valve thingy.
Smitty

Nice. Any suggestions when I go to start on my Spyder IS?

Yeah, definately.

Nice work.

That is probably the best looking Icon I've seen. Definately look into powdercoating. Any ideas for a barrel?
Kev

Sexy, but I dont like the spike thing....

Smitty- first thing I would suggest is to take the trigger out, put in a very soft spring, and then back the pre-travel screw out as far as it will go. Build off of that.

As for barrel, I'm looking into a fade powdercoat (I think that's possible) maybe black to gold, so I want a glossy black barrel. County has Boss Progressives for $26 so that's probably what will happen (keep in mind I have 2 other guns to keep happy).

And the fin... haha I'm not really the biggest fan of it, but I put it on 2:00 am the other night and now it's extremely hard so I don't feel like milling it off. Besides, how many fins have you ever seen on an Icon?

I look into some of that. Thanks and good luck.
