as you can see i'm doing an ok job on my site rails...but i ran into a problem as you can see in these next two pic's their is this little crease...

...should i fill this up with lab metal a sand smooth...or you think i can smooth this out with some sandpaper and a dermel tool till there is no more crease.....only problem i have if i do that would that be to far...i don't want my linkage arm showing...

second....

as you can see the sear spring is different than the old style 98c...would a strong or weaker sear spring help with faster firing(maybe) and a smoother trigger pull...thanks.
redneckdeerhunter

Well for the first question i would defiantly fill that in I think it would look fine.

Second question-
Stronger spring= harder pull.
weaker spring= less trigger pull, but also the chance that the sear wont catch the bolt.
RoboCop

I would just fill in the crease.

Also, I would just leave the stock spring for the sear. I wouldn't risk anything, unless you have done it before and know what you are doing.

only reason i ask the second question...is that, for the older style 98c..the maddman spring kit came with different strenght sear springs....i though the samthing could be done with the new style 98c...

first question,
you could either fill it or round it off, i rounded mine and i like the look.

second question,
you could lighten it, my R\T came with a heavy spring and i put the stock spring in to reduce trigger pull. (made the R\T shoot a bit faster too!)

ya i seen what you did to your 98c...great job...but i was trying to get mine to look like this...

...do you think i have enough room to work with to do this???
tigman250

there isn't much of a gap under the centerfeed so i would assume he filled the groove rather than milling it off.

I replaced my sear spring with a lighter one and it made a huge difference. Take out the trigger return spring also and there will be less weight to pull, the trigger will move unless the marker is cocked. So long as your sear spring is not too short or too light to push the sear up and catch the bolt.

i made a magnetic trigger and a magnetic sear return. the trigger is awsome, but sometime the sear won't catch or something and the gun will spurter. it might be becuase of the velocity or something, cuase i haven't playted with this gun in like 4 months.
