Looks cool, but probably sucks. They more than likely tried to target the mil-sim players on this one.
tigman250

??6 bps?? not going to impress too many people, cool concept though

Thats the evolt, made by NPS. The same company that makes timmy.

No air needed, all batterys.
TriggerHappy1

Iv seen that a while ago. There was a few pics from the show it was released at. Uses no gas, cool, but impractical if you ask me.

That would be cool. It'd be alot cheaper, but then they'd say you can only use their batteries, because otherwise it'd be cheap. Tounge

90 minutes recharge and only about 500 shots on one charge....That's why I say it's gunna bomb
cdacda13

Its a step into the future. You wait, in about 5 years, there wont be any HPA or CO2 tanks.
And these guns will be getting 40000 shots of one 9v battery. And, since theres no air, which means no regulator, and there will be perfect constant-cy.

Yeah I haven't read it up. Just looked at the picture. You'd need like 10 batteries. THumb down
Glassjaw

Old news, but looks like a step into the future.
TriggerHappy1

I think it runs off of a battery pack, not induvidual batterys.

It uses a rechargeable 18v battery pack that generates the compressed air needed to shoot the paintballs.

Like cda said, it's definately a step into the future..

Exactally. Thats why the eVolt probably wont make a go of it. Just wait till some of the more poular companies pick up on this..

It will be a paintball revolution.

If batterys do eventualy become the new gas (probaly will), I see people using them almost like pods in a game, dropping a dead one and replacing it in battel. Cooool.
tigman250

i'de modify it so i could use my DeWalt battery Laughing
Sureshot3091

DeWalt baterry are expensive yo! I saw one for like $69!

Yeah. I have a few.
^Pirate^

Looks like something Jefangel made, except his needed air, and shot faster...
Psyrecx

its on identity crisis

Batteries are not cheap, but I think in the next few years the whole system will become more efficient then the performance and fieldability will be better. It's a long way off before it can compete with the convience and abilities of HPA off a compressor.
