Palmer messing up, Another question,pg2

I think my palmer is broken or something. It is still regularting pressure but there is one problem, liquid co2 is getting past it during high rof.
Can any one help me? Do I need to send it to palmer or is it just because of the high rates of fire, that it is doing this?

Break it down and re-grease it.

Yeah, clean it out all that fun stuff. I've had to do it to my Palmer's before.

Does anyone know how to take apart a female palmer?
You Wont See Me

How old is it? It probably just needs to be cleaned and regreased. Theres a thread about how to take it apart and clean on tippy.
RoboCop

Its not even a fourth of a year old.
Does anyone know the link about the palmer on the Tippy forum or the name of the post? I will search.

I searched and couldn't find it at all.

I'll check into it.

Or, look at the palmer's website, they must have derections on how to clean the reg.

It doesn't matter how old it it, it matter only many shots you put though it. And since CO2 is dirtier than HPA, the reg gets dirtier quicker.

I was just asking to make sure it wasnt new and that it still needed broken in.

I was under the impression that regulators were only semi-effective in reducing liquid from C02 during high ROF, therefor this would happen regularly?

Regulators>expansion chambers at keeping out liquid.

Really? Thought it was the other way around.

As did I. I'll try and search Tippy as well.

After 2 years of hardly ever leaving NP or U&P, I'm positive

Regulator>X chamber
cdacda13

Theres no sarcsam font here.
RoboCop

After owning a x chamber and a regulator, regulators are a lot better.

Does the palmer have loctite or any kind of seal when you unscrew or whatever you do to open it?

VVVVVVVV~~~ANOTHER QUESTION~~~VVVVVVV

When you users of co2 have a smoke cloud come out of the barrel does it dissapear really quickly, or what?
On mine, when the palmer isn't blocking co2 because of high rates of fire, the co2 cloud actually barely comes out of the barrel (there is quite a bit of a cloud). When it comes out, it just lingers right at the barrel tip. When I look at other people shooting, the co2 shoots pretty far out and disappears in no time. When I shoot, the cloud will stay almost a second if not a second long. I was told if I just put a good amount of thin oil through the palmer and air it up, the palmer will be better and be more tolerant with the co2. I will probably be buying a HPA tank pretty soon, because this is bothering me. With my connections I can get a 68/4500 for about $60 Cheers SCORE!

Just wondering what you all had to say about my wierd problem.

found this hope it helps
