PG1-Recball field; PG2-Woods/Other Fields

I put this field up three days ago, have only played 1v1 on it. The closest real field is an hour away, so I decided to make this.

As long as you're careful it's fine. I gotta do something about the pallets though...
TriggerHappy1

That looks freaking awsome! I want to play there! Its like a total outlaw speedball feild. Nice ATV.
RoboCop

If you leave it like that, you might get brown spots on your yard. It looks nice, but if you care about your yard, you might want to move it after each use. Also paintballs can have a major effct on the yard if there are areas with a lot of paint build up.
rossy11223

I wish I had a field like that.
tigman250

do you actually use the atv and lawn mowers for bunkers?

And yes I do know, that's why my dad makes me move it around everyday.

Very nice! I hate pallets - you still get hit through them but they block your view. Maybe tack some thick fabric (burlap) over them?

Run this idea past your dad. Get some 4" pvc pipe and the post hole diggers. Burry the pipe straight up and down, level with the land surface, in 2' sections. Then get some sheets of plywood and screw 2"X4"X6' legs on the sheet. Use your ATV to drag out the new "bunkers" and stand them up, 2"X4" in PVC pipe. Very easy to put up and take down. If you paint them they will wash off paintballs with a hose.

Do you play in the woods behind the fence?

Sounds great. I'm sure we have those supplies, when my cousin gets here I'll make him build it, lol j/k.

The area behind the far fence is way to think to play in (underbrush). When I feel like playing some woodsball there are about 35 acres to the direct right of the picture. My house is right behind where I'm taking the picture from. Give me 30 mintutes and I'll have pictures of where I play in the woods.

Nice. Rambo

This is the area behind the fence:

When I feel Civil-Warish, I play in our cotton/corn/soybean field.

Pictures of the woods:

Here are the goats (yes we have goats):

And here is the main pasture:
TriggerHappy1

AWSOME! I wish I lived in the country. Have a house up north with lots of land like that. Your so lucky to have all that land. Id pay to play there.

You used a flash in every picture except the third one.
RoboCop

Your yard is a beauty. Thumbs up

Yup. New camera and I'm still figuring out how to work it.

I love Alabama.
TriggerHappy1

I never use a flash except if theres a lot of motion in a dar place, or its really dark. I have a few ways of holding the camera perfectly still to avoid blur. Natural light>flashes.

Agreed.

Really nice woodsball field. I wish ours had hardly any underbrush like yours. We have poison Ivy all over ours. So its either stay on the paths or get poison ivy. It makes for some very stragetic games though.
rossy11223

That looks a lot like the woods where I play. My friends and I want to make our own field though. I will have to try some of these ideas.
Nickodemus

Beautiful field, lots of greens near the ground. 1 on 1 you may never find each other in 35 acres. Try this out:

You have livestock! Get the shovel and put a steaming pile behind your opponents favorite bunkers before the game ^pirate^'s

In my woods the only problem comes with the thorny vines and insects. Occasionally an alligator will frighten a player, but not in a long time.
Justice

Nice. Be thankfull.

I was wondering the same. I'd never do that to mine..................I'd shoot people while riding them.

Maybe I forgot to mention that the one on the field doesn't run.
RoboCop

It wouldn't really matter though because ATVs will get mud all over them and nothing happens. So, what would a little paint do? Nothing.

On the ATV we have that we use everyday, you can't even tell what model/brand it is. It's just covered in mud, dirt, all kinds of stuff.

I'm going to play a little bit today on the rec-ball field... maybe my dad can get some action pics/movies.
Nickodemus

It's tough to get good photos I know I tried. You need a sports/combat photographer that knows where to be at the right place at the right time and not in the way or getting hit.
Roll Tide

Just so you guys know we didn't play... rain and thunder and all that stuff. Some of the wind blew some bunkers over.
