some help

ok so i accidently got some gun oil on my microfiber lense cloth and didnt realise so i wiped my lense with the cloth and now ive got oil on my new invison i3 lense, i was just wondering if it would be ok to just wash my lense cloth, wait for it to dry and then wipe the lense to get the oil off it

wrong spot Salut

if you have oil on it it won't wash out very easy, run it through the wash
carbinefreak

a little soap and water should do
TriggerHappy1

Washing it should be fine. Just throw it in with your clothes. Or warm water and some detergent in your sink.

To clean the oil off the lense I would use a wet cloth, and repeat, no harsh solvents.
Lint free micro fiber is not meant to go in the dryer.

so if i wash my microfiber lense cloth i can still use it to clean my lense? also, can you use the microfiber lense cloth on any goggle lense?
Nickodemus

If it is what I think it is all it is soft lint free cloth to prevent you from scratching optics. You get the same stuff with expensive sunglasses, or lenspaper with cameras. It is meant for wiping off dust. Without using lots of water with a tiny bit of dish soap you may just smear the oil around and have to wash your cloth again.

so it would be ok to use my lense cloth again once ive washed it?
