TAG/KM2 Cheetah Board PICS ADDED

I decided last week that it was time for a project. Due to the fact that the Tadao for m Fly was coming out soon, I chose to retrofit my Reloader B and turn it into a Halo with Reloader shells.

I bought the Cheetah board for 80 bucks, the wiring/eye harness for 10, and I got a Boost disposable Hotpack for 15.

First step was dismantling my Reloader. Easy. Then, I installed my eyes and hooked everything up. When it came time to screw the shells together, the board gave me problems. It would not sit in the behind the faceplate well at all; it was VERY stiff and difficult to get in there. After using my pathetic muscles for all they were worth, I got it together. Time for a drop test!

Well, no, not just yet. The manual states that you need to calibrate the board to make it run the auto unjam sequence correctly. I did, and at the same time marveled at how incredibly bright the LEDs are. Definite plus over that wussy ass LED on the Reloader board. I confirmed that the eyes worked, and went through the modes (Auto- Auto unjam, continuous cone spin if the eyes don't detect paint, and Manual- Manual unjam, cone will not spin when paint is not detected) Now. Time for drop test.

I loaded up 100 Premiums, and turned the thing on Auto mode. The Cheetah spit out all one hundred balls in about 3 seconds. I found this very, very amusing. The really trick part is, is that it is sooooooo much nicer to the paint than the Reloader board, but yet it feeds faster. Unjam works flawlessly, I intentionally jammed it up and the motor would reverse at full speed and get everything flowing again, no problem. On gun performance is identical to the Reloader, as to be expected.

Pros-

-Very bright LED array
-Easy to use
-Fast as hell on fire
-Gentle on the paint
-Auto unjam
-Electric RipDrive function

Cons-

-Somewhat difficult installation
-Takes about four seconds to turn on

That's it. Fantastic product.

10/10 Cool

I'm trying to convince my friend to get the Cheetah rather than the new Victory. I think this review will help.

Do you have any experience with the Victory?

Im gonna tell my friend to get that on his halo before he gets the vic. Im sure he will like it much more.

Unfortunately no. Only this and the Reloader board.

He can't go wrong either way, especially considering the Victory is still fast and costs a lot less than the Cheetah.

Regardless, I recommend he hold out and get the Cheetah. There is no way he will regret it.

Thanks, and I look forward to your review on the WAS. I wanted to get one of those, but I am very impatient. Cool

Pics of the board and hopper will be up later today or tomorrow.

Pretty sweet looking. Wish my Halo B worked...
HS

What's wrong with it?
TriggerHappy1

It just doesnt turn on. Batterys good and all. I thought it was a crimped wire so i resoldered it. Checked everything with a meter and all the major cicuits seems perfect. Idk what to do. Its been lying in my basement for months...

Sometimes the board just stops working.

Buy a Victory board for 30 bucks and call it good.
