trilogy questions

ok i pretty much have little experience outside of tippmanns and im thinkin about gettin an autococker trilogy to try something new with. i was wondering if itd be possible to worrblade the trilogy if i like it enough and get comfortable enough with it? thanks guys
TriggerHappy1

Theyre pretty nice. Just dont try to make any adjustments other than velocity. Tuning them is always annoying and a pain in the ass. You can blade them, but its kinda weird seeing a low end gun with a high end frame.
Ghostslinger

well perhaps ppl might change their minds if they get owned by a low end gun with a high end up Cool but thanks man... if any1 has suggestions for another gun (nothing too high up tho, im just lookin to use other stuff) theyre welcome to be heard

there is also an e-blade adapter that is sold by eclipse and in the coming months WGP is comin out with a trilogy sold with the worr blade on already...saw it on there website..but anyways...i hate the trilogy..i had to rent on...it was super loud and super un-comfortable for me to shoot..but if you like it...get one or whatever... Salut
Ghostslinger

well im just lookin at cheap guns made by other caompanies so i can have a varied experience (thnx for the input too)

if u get a trilogy, buy an e2 (worrblades suck), and an mq valve. i jsut got my mq, and it is sick. but, u should look at gettin a used mech cocker.

the trilogys are pretty good...the comp and pro are definately more reliable than just the trilogy so i would reccomend those 2.....trilogys are pretty reliable (for a cocker)
tarallo

Don't get a Trilogy. Look for a used mech cocker on PBNation or somewhere. Just don't get a Trilogy, they suck compared to cockers with a real front block. You'll learn more with one than a Trilogy.

cockers are reliable, u just set it, then don't mess with it
have you ever even owned a cocker?

if u were going to get a trilogy, they have this new one that is electric. it doesn't have a front noid, there is a noid on the inside the moves the 3 way shaft (i think). it is kinda har to expalin. they are in the actionvillage ads in APG
Ghostslinger

i should probably stop this right here. i hardly buy anything used. i just want that up front. and i wont be able to get enough money for a real cocker (cept for like those 04 prostocks or watever theyre called on actionvillage) since theyre so high priced anytime soon.
HS

Don't even waste your time or money with a Trilogy.
Ghostslinger

ok then. so wat cocker would u recommend that isnt 1000 dollars?
abr5

prostock
or, u can build your own cocker
or, u can buy a used one (check ebay)
or, u can buy a lightning cocke (only 100 bucks), and buy completely new parts for it (pretty much buidling a cocker, only u get back up parts)
Ghostslinger

ah thnx. sounds like a plan
abr5

ur gonna do them all?
u can never have to many cockers
Ghostslinger

haha o no. i think ill look into the prostock and work up from their (id be in debt up the ying yang if i bought them all lol)
g36 monkey

i havent owned a cocker myself but i have a few friends who have....they just dont take dirt too well ive noticed Laughing
They are very good when in working order though.
Ghostslinger

ok ive decided on one i like and ill eventually blade it. please tell me if this is a good choice or not (considering the price range im in lol)

edit: and since i kno so ittle about them, suggestion for upgrades (besides the eclipse blade) are highly welcome. Rambo
abr5

its pretty good. as for ups,
new lpr (tickler or jackhammer 2)
new ram (besales .44, palmers quicker),
mq valve (pm RONIN 23 on pbnation, also see the mq valve thread), if u don't want hte mq, get a supercharger valve, though i doubt u will see much of a difference,
get a new bolt ( slick kit (bolt, cocking rod, back block, and pull pin, all under 30 grams), or could halfblock it like mine, but i don't know much bout the botls and stuff, so search around)
u could get a nexus kit, it comes with a eclipse ram (same as .44 ram), supercharger valve, rex hammer kit, bolt, pull pin, and QEV's.
