very....very nice job tig.....all the pic's of you new 98c are lookin great...yes it dose have the NN milling...but i think i looks great...i like smooth milling like on a Matrix LCD....anyways what are the up's going to be??? from the looks of it it has a boomstick and a Psyco Ballistics....to bad you did not get a used or new GTA E-bolt....if i where you i would think about doing alot of mods to the E-bolt(two way ram)...but since you did not get a GTA E-bolt that maybe harder now...anyways it looks great....time for my to get back to work on my guns now....lol Thumbs up

thanks grunt the milling sways a bit from the NN style but for the most part it will look prety much the same. the ups are as you described boomy and the P/B E-Bolt i will swap out my failed LP valve out of my other gun and try to redo my LP experiment on this gun now that i can easily adjust how long the valve is open. it will share the homemade centerfeed feedneck with my other gun (this will prevent me from having to loan out a gun hehe) and i will make it it's very own drop forward along with various other trinkets....well back to work!

ps i doubt i will be doing any mods to the EB itself i think it will work well beyond my capibilities LOL.

well i put it all together before paint last night to make sure everything worked, glad i did it has a few glitches. the trigger was a bit sticky wich turned out to be a burr i put on one of the gun halves clamping it for one of the milling processes. then when i would clamp the bodies tight the valve solenoid would quit working....this kinda fixed itself i still don't know what was causing it. also i put 3 setscrew stops on my alum stick trigger and the hinge pin is whopped out from being hammered by the R/T on my other gun so i need to address that i want this trigger to be crazy light and tight, it will require some shims to help aide in tightning the side to side slop. i also want to add an additional threadded hole in the x-chamber to accomidate my gauge so i know what my operating pressure is. (the kit reg/stab took up the extra hole on my palmers) oh yeah i need to get more hose too....they sent barely enough in the kit!

i'll keep you posted and hopefully get some pics up tonight.

completly finished up the install of the E-Bolt tonight, just a few trigger tweaks left. i want to make a custom holder for the palmers and a new drop forward and a trigger guard, then of course....paint.

pics

i know there are screws missing short hoses and many other little things they will all be addressed.....eventually.

What tool(s) did you use to make the grip where the ebolt could fit? And also, did you do it to both sides of the grip?

i used a bridgeport mill and the board only requires material removal from one half and the battery i had to mill both halves.

to make a trigger you need a mill, drill bits, endmill and files. yes i plan on making a trigger guard.

finishing up the trigger mods, i got to say for a Tippmann this is going to be sweet!! the trigger pull and weight i think will rival the high end guns Cheers (can't really say for sure....haven't ever shot a high end gun)

watch out Angel owners....here comes my Tippy! it might weigh a ton, shoot so-so and be a yard long but dang it sure has a nice trigger pull!!

i still need to ream the holes in the trigger and the gun halves and make a pin that fits perfectly it still has a teeny tiny amount of side to side wobble....but i'll get it perfect!!
