So, I got my Mag Saturday after the SATs, which was a nice surprise. Now, seeing as I dont have HPA yet, I decided to test fire the gun with my 12(no balls, just a few shots). Upon doing so, I began to hear a hissing sound. As I pulled the trigger, the gun sputtered and sounded like it was double firing(like not enough gas was getting where it needed to be). So i checked the macro and I see "flakes" coming from between the elbow and macro. I have no experience with macro, so i need some help. How should I fix this? I need all the help I can get. Here's a pis(I'll have more for he gallery later, just testing). Maybe it'll help if you cant understand what I'm talking about.

the flakes were probably liquid co2. for the leaking prob, try and drop some oil in the ASA and shoot it through.

Mags love oil.
Be genorous with it.

Also, if its only leaking when you fire, its mostly likely a problem with the on/off.

If it comes down to it, you can always replace the macro.

a nice sharp utiltiy knife works great...don't use wire cutters!!! they crush it and cause leaks. don't actually have to trim 1/2" just cut off the part that is all chewed up...if it is at all.

Havent fixed the leak yet, but ran into another problem. The front grip was loose and upon attempting to tighten it, I found it wasnt tightening. I looked at the threads of the screw and they're fine; however, I think the threads on the gun are stripped. What should I do? Should I take it up to the local hardwar store and see if they can re-tap/thread it for me? Or, is there some kinds of sealant that I could put in and not worry about tightening it again? Thanks for all the help!!

stay away from epoxys and JB weld drill it out to the next larger size and retap it, that's the only correct way to fix it. if you can't do it yourself find someone that can should only cost $5.

I would still be able to find the right bolt to fit through the front grip?

Also, I tried to begin cutting the macro. Should it cut easily? It seemed like real hard plastic and I couldnt get through with a utility knife. Any suggestions?

if it's an allen bolt you should be able to find it at a hardware store.

the macro should cut fairly easy with a sharp utility knife.

Yeah, it's an allen bolt. I'll probably have to have the hole of the front grip rethreaded as well right?

I've tried cutting the macro. It just wont cut. Seems like it is real hard plastic. I thought macro was more rubbery... Thinking
