before i begin my review i just want to say the pic's are of my apache that i own. the vid's are other people's apache's that i found on the net. now to start my review...

this is my apache. i have owned it for 5 or 6 months. i got it for $45 on sale from action village.

this is a very light hopper. uses 2 9volt batteries. it is very easy to put in and take out the batteries from the apache. the batteries are lock in tight in to the apache when installed. no worry of the falling out if dropped.

the neck of the apache uses o-rings to keep it from moving around. when you get the apache it comes with a pack of o-rings for it in different sizes to make sure it stays on your gun.

on the sides of the hopper their are windows. so you may see the paintball's that are in your hopper. don't worry they are very strongly made. won't break if dropped or hit by enemy fire. will break if hit with a hammer or somthing.

the lid..it is very easy to open and close, even under fire. the lid is very strong & stays locked when you close it. but you may drop paint if you are loading under fire. the lid opening is alittle small. so you may drop 4 to 10 balls if you are in a hurry.

it can hold up to 180 rounds. it is not a force feeding hopper like a halo b it can go from 14 to 19bps very fast. here is some examples...

it come with a timer that you can set to the length of the game you are playing. it has alarms on it to to tell you how much time you have left. if you run out of batteries or somthing happens in side your hopper. the hopper can become a gravity feed hopper.

you may want to tighten the feed neck a little if you own a 98c, just to be safe.

this a good hopper i got for the price i got it for, maybe be over priced at other web stores so watch out. i have dropped my hoper once during a game. but i tripped over somthing and my 98c went flying..lol. but my hopper stayed on and the lid stayed close. but some paint broke. but i was happy that nothing else happen to my hopper or 98c. it come with a 2 year warrenty if enything happens to it. it may not be the fastest or more popular than a 12v rev, but it is a better hopper than the stock 98c one.
this hopper gets a 8.8 out of 10.

i forgot to add this to.....

it use's like a paper thin sensor, that is in the feedneck of the apache.
shown here in the pic..look like a red piece of paper. every time a paintball hits it that makes the hopper agitate the paintballs which makes the paintball go down the neck into the paintball gun....
..sorry i couldn't take a better pic of it.

it is just as fast or faster as a stock egg with a stock board. but it dose not force the paintballs into your paintball gun like an egg dose. it sort of give the paintball a good push and the paintball dose the rest, but really fast.

I have a hard time believe that it can feed 19 BPS. If it isn't a force feed, or a semi force feed (like an egg) it shouldn't be able to feed over 13.333 BPS.

Then again, Im no sciencist, so Ill stop talking.
