Well I'm looking for a Revvy.  I've got a 98c w/ an R/T on the way supposably, and I need a hopper to keep up.  I don't have much cash, so I only want to spend around $10 or so.  Otherwise, I might have some stuff to trade.

I don't have an extra one, but may I make a suggestion?

Look for a viewloader force hopper. Its 30  new and can easily keep up to PSP ramping.

Well it sounds loud, and I've read some reviews on it that say it's not a very good hopper.  They compared it to a VL Quantum.  I want something kind of quiet for woodsball play.  Maybe I should just go for a Cyclone.  If I can get a used cyclone cheap, would that be a good idea?  How cheap do they go used?  Does anyone have one?

Smitty, you ever feel like making the switch to more high-end guns? Seems like you are getting yourself stuck with Tippmanns. The new Tippmann with stock split receivers is pretty cool, but by now, you would think you would move on. But you said you don't play very often.

I don't want to dump a ton of money into high ends.  I don't play much now, but I believe I'll start playing more this summer.  My brother and his friends are going to start playing.  And, I simply love Tippys.  I am comfortable upping and modding a 98c.  I just love doing it.  I get the stuff cheap though too.  This is the 98c and stuff I just bought:

98c w/ R/T, 2 14" SP Teardrop barrels (Already have 1 sold for $25), X-Chamber, and 14 oz CO2 tank for.........$40.  Yes I AM the man.  Wink

I also bought..........

Flatline (missing 2 screws, but is an easy fix), Car Stock, and bi-pod for........$50.  Again.....THE man.

I also sold enough stuff to pay for this.  I've gone through a lot of deals lately.  I bought a set of 98c recievers for $5, and then sold them for $35.  I sold the milled 98c I did (and it leaked) for $70 (to Canada though), and I believe I've got that Zap sold locally.  I've also sold some random parts and pieces, and traded around.

Is it loud though?  I'll be playing woodsball, and I don't want to hear my hopper buzzing all the time since the impellor keeps moving.  Any other suggestions or insight?

If you were able to dump the money into an HPA tank and a nice hopper, getting a mid-end gun like the old style fusion wouldn't be so bad as you can buy an 07 for $175 now.

I've got an older Revvy. I'll see if it's still functional and get back to you. I don't have much of a need for it since I play pump.

Well, there aren't any places around here that fill HPA tanks.  I fill my own CO2.  I'll just stick with my Tippys.  I just like customizing them.  And lmk about that Revvy sinister.  I'd like it to be black, but I guess I could paint it.

It's black. No worries, buddy.

EDIT: I just took some batteries out of my smoke detectors to try it out and it wasn't working. It worked when I first got it. It may need a new board. I really don't know what the problem could be.

Well lmk if you get it working, or if you find a cheap hopper.  I'm really interested in getting a cyclone now, just because I'm going for a mil-sim type look (flatline, stock, ect.).

Oh. You're probably better off with that. I'm back at school so I won't get to work on it for awhile.
