You know how many balls are in your full hopper before the game. You know how many balls each one of your pods hold. You know how many times you reload in a game (empty pods). All you have to estimate is how full your hopper is when your done. I don't see what the big deal is, if your beyond spilling balls when reloading. If you want to bench it to count then use a chrono. I don't like all these electronics, just more to break. However, I would like to have my marker tell me muzzle velocity.
How many of you are suprised when you run out of ammo? You don't give it the occasional shake to feel how many balls are left? Before the electric hoppers or cyclone I remember having to shake the marker to get the balls to drop faster from the hopper. It got you used to knowing how many shots where left by feeling the josling.

I have been shocked when I run out of paint, I reach back for a pod and theres nothing there.
You dont think about EVERYTHING when your playing. Its hard to think about 5 different things, "Is the snake clear", "Where are they at"," Why is this noob with me in the back stand up" " Dont let the old guy get to the 50, damn too late" "Why are my shoots dropping off, am I out of air", " I need a pod, snap Im out"

Thinking about all that is tough.

To each their own I suppose. I played for a long time with a pump and frequent reloads. I'm always conscious of how fast I'm lossing ammo. What gets me is when something happens on the field somewhere that I wasn't watching. Kind of the opposite it sounds like.

i wanted to get i think it was a bonez lcd or something that was a pretty nice gun and it had all the bps counters, game timers, and all that stuff on there. I have seen a few hoppers with bps counters, and counters on how many balls you have left. Some people told me they put it on there themselves (like made the parts and everything) though i didnt really believe em.
