If your usin like a box cutter or somethin, switch out the blade on it, the one your using may be dull. If that doesnt work see if you can buy a new macro cuz you might just be having bad luck.

Well, I finally got through the macro, but it didnt seem to help. Still heard a hissing coming form the elbow. I'm gonna try to get new macro soon. I should be taking the Mag up the the hardware store tomorrow after the track meet to see what they can do.

Alright...last question....I hope.

I noticed on the Micromag valve, it says "Rated 3000psi". Does this mean that's all the more it can handle? or is that the reccomended psi?

Thanks!!

it's rated at 3000 psi that's all it is rated for it could withstand more probably but it's only safe to 3000.

So, a 68/4500 is out of the question? What's the best size in 3000psi?

Also, if I were to take the fittings off and put them back on, what kind of teflon tape would I use? I know there's a few types. Also, just wrap it around once?

3000psi through the tube is very unlikely to happen. The regulator doesn't allow the pressure to go that high through the gun. It is safe to get as high pressure tank you want as long as you have a regulator. You won't be putting more than 800psi through the tube and the gun.

3000 psi is the max it can hold, but remember that all* HPA tanks output less than or equal to 850 psi. So, you are in no danger. You can use any tank pressure you want; 3000, 4500, 5000, anything.

I've seen people rig their SCUBAs to their mags, and they are pushing upwards of 2800 psi straight into the gun. No damage.

Alright, good. I was really hoping on getting a 68/4500.

Now, can anyone help me out with the Teflon tape question?

wrap it around twice, cut tape (ripping sometimse makes a long string of tape in the end), screw in fitting.

also, my friend had an adjsutable tank, and accidently set it to like 2500 psi, aired up the gun. the macro blew and it sounded liek a gun going off. pretty cool
jsut sayin
