Yes, I may be taking up airsoft.  My brother is looking into getting a gun, and a lot of his friends have some, so I figure why not.  As long as I can play.  Don't worry though, I may be getting them into paintball.  Anyway, I was wondering a few things about some of the airsoft guns I'm finding.  Some of the M16, M4, ect. guns have gernade launchers.  How do these work?  And I also was wondering just what "Hop-up" is.  Any help is appreaciated.  Thanks.

Don't know about the grenade launcher thing but I am pretty sure that the hop up is a little piece of robber or something on the top of the barrel and puts backspin on the ball, making it go farther (think flatline)

Well I was wondering too if there is a difference in BB sizes.  Some say 6mm and some say .12g.

6mm is the standard size. and its usually 12g vs 20g. 20g are of course heavier, so they fly straighter and will go farther

Yeah I felt stupid after thinking about it.  Grams and millimeters are different units.  Wow...

After looking at that website, it rejuvenated the want for a nitro rc car. They have a subaru impreza that gets 73.4 mph. I wonder if I could race my friend's 350z real car for a short distance and win.
